Hunger Strike

God,
We don't know what's wrong
With Gabrielle.
We know that a dog running from food
Like it is poison
Is not normal behavior. 
We don't know if the cause is
Physical or psychological,
Or some mixture of both.

You know all things.
You know what's bothering her,
And causing her to not eat.
We ask that You reveal that to us
And to the vet who will examine her today
So that she can be treated,
And healed,
And start to willingly eat again.

Lord,
She's such a vibrant character.
Please help us help her.
Please reach down and touch her,
And heal that which ails her...
